STRUCTURAL STEEL MIG WELDER

Full-Time Position – Webster, NY

Salary Range: $23-35/hr

POSITION SUMMARY

At IDEAL Manufacturing, Inc., our manufacturing team helps build the deep foundation systems that support construction projects across the country. We’re looking for a Structural Steel MIG Welder who takes pride in quality work, values teamwork, and puts safety first.

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills, including accurately reading a tape measure
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and equipment maintenance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and fabricate steel components using welding equipment, power tools, and hand tools
• Perform MIG welding to AWS D1.1 structural steel welding standards
• Read blueprints and specifications to fabricate, repair, or modify metal parts
• Inspect welds and check dimensions, angles, and gaps
• Clean and repair welds using grinders and other equipment
• Safely operate electric cranes to move pipe and steel components
• Maintain accurate job records and follow safety procedures

Full-Time Position – East Rochester, NY

Salary Range: $65000.00 - $85000.00 Base+Commission/year

POSITION SUMMARY

 As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for new opportunities—making outbound calls, setting up meetings, and generating qualified leads that fuel our sales pipeline. The first year is mostly office-based, giving you time to learn our industry and our clients. Starting in year two, you’ll spend about 20% of your time traveling to meet prospects and build relationships face-to-face.

JR GEOTECHNICAL CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Geotechnical Civil Design Engineer supports the design and development of deep foundation solutions for a variety of construction projects. This role reviews project plans and geotechnical information, develops preliminary foundation designs and value-engineered alternatives, and coordinates design submittals through completion. The position works closely with customers, project teams, sales, and engineering partners to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that meet each project’s unique needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Geotechnical and structural engineering experience or coursework
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting project deadlines
• Advanced computer skills, including CAD programs such as Inventor, ERP systems, Office 365, and Smartsheet
• Previous experience in the deep foundation or construction industry is a plus

What You’ll Do

• Review project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
• Develop preliminary pile designs, takeoffs, and quotations
• Recommend foundation solutions and value-engineered alternatives
• Coordinate signed and sealed design submittals with engineering partners
• Review revisions, address design questions, and prepare supporting documentation
• Create CAD drawings and provide technical support to customers, sales, and project teams
