MACHINE OPERATOR II (B SHIFT)

What You’ll Do:
- Operate Ideal’s various Machinery including our CNC Pipe Profiling Machine, Robotic Crane Arm, Plasma/Flame Cutting table and the Tube plasma pipe cutter
- Load and move material via Forklift
- Deburr parts
- Input job specifications into computer
- Measure, count and maintain job order accuracy

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Level: Experienced
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot PLC systems on CNC machines and robotics.
- Working with 12v to 480V 3 phase 3 Phase Electric, an Electrician License is not required
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring and electronic components on machinery and equipment
- Set-up Industrial machining equipment including high voltage wiring but not limited to (drill presses, grinders, welders, mills, lathes, and other metal working tools to fabricate and repair parts.)
- Performs equipment repair on overhead cranes, conveyor, and automation equipment
- Perform electrical and electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on all machines, at time including forklifts and/or facility equipment
- Detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with operators, supervisors, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair 12 v machines.
- Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Must be available for overtime as needed, and available for on-call on occasion.
- Assist with plant repairs and upgrades as needed, including light plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance
- Must possess a wide range of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical.
- Experience in PLC troubleshooting for Fanuc, HAAS programs
- Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Point Person for overseeing Shipping Team in partnership with Manager
- Responsible for timecard approval and daily work assignments
- Read Parts numbers, Purchase orders, Bill of Ladings
- Report all safety and quality issues immediately
- Completing physical final count on outgoing shipments; ensuring it matches exactly to pick list
- Ensure all paperwork signoffs and final photographs are taken and filed for future QC reference.
- Oversee execution of all required product tagging, QC signoffs
- Package small parts/hardware per the Picklist
- Operate Forklift to move steel pipes to appropriate locations
- Build wooden skids or crates with required power or hand tools.
- Band together heavy finished steel products
- Load and Unload Trucks
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

- Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or hardscaping field preferred
- Mechanical aptitude: propane forklift experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, work orders and customer specifications
- Basic math and measurement skills required (addition, subtraction, decimal and fraction conversions); able to accurately read a tape measure

PACKAGER/FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Full Time Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Operate Propane Gas Forklift to move steel pipes to appropriate locations in the outside yard

Load completed product order into the trucks or onto the flatbeds; making sure load is balanced and secure

Build wooden skids or crates with required power or hand tools

Band together heavy finished steel products

Prepare hardware for shipment based on the order specifications; ensuring proper counts and labels are in place

INVENTORY MATERIAL HANDLER
Full Time Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Operate Propane Gas Sit-down Forklifts and Large Yard tractors to move steel pipes and parts to appropriate locations
- Maintain organization in the inventory yard
- Retrieve necessary parts from the inventory yard
- Support cycle counting efforts and proper labeling
- Communicate with Inventory Manager and Production team
- Build wooden skids or crates with required power or hand tools if necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing necessary records

BUYER
Full-Time Position
Position Summary
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing raw materials, consumables, supplies and other goods necessary for the manufacturing plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, shop supplies, etc.
- Purchase office supplies and other consumables; generate purchase orders in a timely manner
- Obtain competitive bids; review and analyze price quotations
- Build relationships with suppliers, working collaboratively on achieving the supply chain requirements
- Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
- Coordinate purchase requirements with internal operating departments (Maintenance, Production, Welding, Shipping)
- Follow up and expedite the delivery of critical material
- Maintain supplier data within the ERP system
- Collaborate with Inventory Manager on receiving and tracking purchased goods
- Measure and report on the supply base performance for on-time delivery, lead time, and order quantity
- Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with Production and Inventory team, other users, and vendors to determine the root cause and take corrective action

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing buying experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
- Experience with, and sound knowledge of sales and operations, manufacturing supply chain, and inventory planning
- Strong inventory management and negotiating skills
- ERP system experience required
- Must have the authorization to work in the United States
- Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, work orders, and customer specifications

WELDER (B SHIFT)
Full Time Position – Webster, NY
Position Summary
Prepares and welds all joints to AWS D1.1 structural steel welding code standard. Operates semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts using the gas metal arc welding process. Cleans and repairs welds with grinders, plasma gougers, other equipment, and methods common to the welding trade.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fabricate components by following requirements; using equipment to clean, prepare, burn, and weld pieces, utilizing power and hand tools as necessary
- Read specifications, blueprints and/or sketches to repair or modify metal parts
- Verify welding results by inspecting welds; Check angles and gap allowances using micrometers and calipers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing necessary records (job order, router tracking)
- Maintain safe work environment by following procedures, complying with legal and company regulations
- Safely operate electric cranes to transport workpieces (pipe) and metal components
