MANUFACTURING FACILITY POSITIONS

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

Full-Time Position – Webster, NY

Salary Range: $25-32/hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Review all new orders within 2 hours of entry and verify accuracy
    • Frequently check email and respond to inquiries
    • Collaborate with Inventory Manager and Buyer to ensure accurate inventory of items required to fulfill the order
    • Produce routers, bill of materials, and other required paperwork; deliver to Production floor
    • Enter any weld work into the Excel Weld Calendar, ERP, and other applicable systems
    • Finalize a ship date(s) for each order.
    • Notify Sales of any changes or impact to customers
    • Provide lead times and address expediting requests
    • Coordinate between Sales, Production, Purchasing and Shipping
    • Compare projected cycle times with the actual cycle times and adjust in scheduling system
    • Maintain data integrity within the system with up to date and accurate records
    • Attend daily Production Meetings

    • Advanced experience with ERP systems
    • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with team members
    • Possess a customer-first mindset
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States
    • Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions

MATERIALS MANAGER

Full-Time Position – Webster, NY

Salary Range: $80k-95k/annum

POSITION SUMMARY
The Materials Manager is responsible for the overarching success of the purchasing, production scheduling, inventory, yard organization, logistics, and shipping departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Oversight of the purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and shipping functions
    • Develop and mentor a team of four direct reports by setting a positive and confident leadership example to all the employees and management. Promote positive employee relations through effective relationship building, conflict management and issue resolution
    • Devises methods and establishes standards and procedures; coordinates the efforts of departments managed
    • Develop, implement, and manage KPI’s.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on executing accurate and timely processes within inventory and shipping
    • Work with the CFO and GM in the development and maintenance of budgets for all activities within the function
    • Responsible for forecasting, sourcing and ordering high value raw materials; negotiating with vendors

    • A minimum of ten (10) years of logistics, warehouse, supply chain experience.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of related supervisory experience (hiring, firing, performance management and development).
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
    • Proven experience overcoming the challenges of manufacturing; providing innovative solutions to those challenges.
    • Ability to think strategically and convert strategy into action.
    • Ability to independently prioritize simultaneous projects.
    • Interpersonal and communications skills to motivate, empower, train, direct, lead, evaluate and coach a diverse group of team members to reach their fullest potential.
    • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
    • Experience with, and sound knowledge of sales and operations, manufacturing supply chain, procurement and inventory planning
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States

    • Frequent twisting, horizontal reaching, upper extremity push/pull, bending
    • Able to wear required PPE; ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toed boots as needed
    • Most of the year temperatures inside the plant will match or exceed the outdoor conditions as bay doors remain open
    • Weld smoke and metal cutting machine filtration systems minimize smoke but do not eliminate it. Air quality is below OSHA PEL (Permissible Exposure Limits) guidelines; therefore, Respirator use not required by standard, Voluntary Use only- must have medical evaluation prior.

STRUCTURAL STEEL MIG WELDER

Full-Time Position – Webster, NY

Salary Range: $23-35/hr

POSITION SUMMARY
Prepares and welds all joints to AWS D1.1 structural steel welding code standard. Operates semiautomatic welding equipment to join metal parts using the gas metal arc welding process. Cleans and repairs welds with grinders, plasma gougers, other equipment, and methods common to the welding trade

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Fabricate components by following requirements; using equipment to clean, prepare, burn, and
      weld pieces, utilizing power and hand tools as necessary
    • Read specifications, blueprints and/or sketches to repair or modify metal parts
    • Verify welding results by inspecting welds; Check angles and gap allowances using micrometers
      and calipers.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing necessary records (job order, router
      tracking)
    • Maintain safe work environment by following procedures, complying with legal and company
      regulations
    • Safely operate electric cranes to transport workpieces (pipe) and metal components

    • Possess basic knowledge of computer systems and equipment maintenance
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with leadership and teammates
    • Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions in
      English, work orders and customer specifications
    • Basic math and measurement skills required (addition, subtraction, decimal and fraction
      conversions); able to accurately read a tape measure
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States
    • Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions,
      work orders and customer specifications
    • Basic math and measurement skills required (addition, subtraction, decimal and fraction
      conversions); able to accurately read a tape measure

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
    • Able to stand (85%); walk (10%); stoop, kneel, bend or crouch (5%), as required
    • Frequent twisting, horizontal reaching, upper extremity push/pull, bending

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Full-Time Position – Webster, NY

Salary Range: $23-32/hr

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will utilize their working knowledge of machine maintenance to facilitate repairs, install equipment, and maintain machinery. They will accomplish this by being able to work on CNC equipment, robots, and plant facilities with the end goal and commitment to keeping the machines functioning for production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and other machinery.
    • Troubleshoot PLC systems on CNC machines and robotics
    • Installs and repairs electrical wiring and electronic components on machinery and equipment
    • Working with 12v to 480V 3 phase 3 Phase Electric, an Electrician License is not required
    • Set up Industrial machining equipment including high voltage wiring but not limited to (drill presses, grinders, welders, mills, lathes, and other metal working tools to fabricate and repair parts.)
    • Performs equipment repair on overhead cranes, conveyors, and automation equipment
    • Detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with operators, supervisors, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair 12v machines
    • Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
    • Assist with plant repairs and upgrades as needed, including light plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance

    • Must possess a wide range of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical.
    • Experience in PLC troubleshooting for Fanuc, HAAS programs is a plus.
    • Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment
    • Comfortable with reading electrical drawings.
    • Proficient in reading, math, and possess strong communication skills, ability to read, write and understand English
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States
    • Basic math and measurement skills required (addition, subtraction, decimal and fraction conversions); able to accurately read a tape measure
