MACHINE OPERATOR II (B SHIFT)

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate Ideal’s various Machinery including our CNC Pipe Profiling Machine, Robotic Crane Arm, Plasma/Flame Cutting table and the Tube plasma pipe cutter
  • Load and move material via Forklift
  • Deburr parts
  • Input job specifications into computer
  • Measure, count and maintain job order accuracy

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Level: Experienced

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Troubleshoot PLC systems on CNC machines and robotics.
  • Working with 12v to 480V 3 phase 3 Phase Electric, an Electrician License is not required
  • Installs and repairs electrical wiring and electronic components on machinery and equipment
  • Set-up Industrial machining equipment including high voltage wiring but not limited to (drill presses, grinders, welders, mills, lathes, and other metal working tools to fabricate and repair parts.)
  • Performs equipment repair on overhead cranes, conveyor, and automation equipment
  • Perform electrical and electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on all machines, at time including forklifts and/or facility equipment
  • Detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with operators, supervisors, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair 12 v machines.
  • Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
  • Must be available for overtime as needed, and available for on-call on occasion.
  • Assist with plant repairs and upgrades as needed, including light plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Must possess a wide range of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical.
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting for Fanuc, HAAS programs
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment
  • Proficient in reading, math, and possess strong communication skills, ability to read, write and understand EnglishPhysical Demands and Work Environment
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Able to stand (75%); walk (10%); stoop, kneel or crouch (15%), as required; Frequent twisting, horizontal reaching, upper extremity push/pull
  • Able to wear required PPE; ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toed boots
  • Temperatures inside the plant will match or exceed the outdoor conditions as bay doors remain open
  • Weld smoke and metal cutting machine filtration systems minimize smoke but do not eliminate it. Air quality is below OSHA PEL (Permissible Exposure Limits) guidelines; therefore, Respirator use not required by standard, Voluntary Use only- must have medical evaluation prior.

    SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

    Job Level: Experienced

     

    POSITION SUMMARY
    As the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, you will coordinate all activity in the yard and work closely
    with the production team to ensure that the shipping process runs smoothly, accurately, and
    effectively.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Coordinate operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments,
    • Act as main contact for all logistics questions from sales, design, production, and inventory
    team members as well as external vendors
    • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
    • Supervise team of Packagers/Forklift Drivers including performance reviews, employee work
    schedules, timecard approval, work assignments, and training
    • Ensure all paperwork signoffs and final photographs are taken and filed for future QC
    reference.
    • Oversee execution of all required product tagging, QC signoffs
    • Direct Shipping Lead to prepare outgoing shipments, effectively prioritize workload and be the
    point person outside in the yard
    • Report all safety and quality issues immediately
    • Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
    • Minimum of 5 yrs experience in Shipping & Receiving
    • Supervisory experience a must
    • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
    • Intermediate experience with ERP software and Microsoft office
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Attention to detail; problem solving abilities

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
    • Able to wear required PPE, ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toed boots
    • Most of the year temperatures inside the plant will match or exceed the outdoor conditions as
    bay doors remain open; The Shipping Yard is Outside year round
